Vacation style

Sorry for the long delay, but my vacation looks are finally here! I received so many comments on my posts about my outfits in Cabo, so wanted to share these looks with you. I am also sharing some summer dresses that I am currently hawking.

When I go on vacation during anytime of the year, I tend to always overpack. To avoid this, I try to lay out my look for each day (even if it's a repeat - which is perfectly OK). I find that this narrows down your picks and makes you feel so much more confident each day of vacation. Not to mention all the time and space you save in your suitcase :)

Below are some dresses that I am currently hawking, as well as my eight days of looks while on vacation (I packed more, but I will spare you!)

One location (Cabo), eight days of looks:

Day One

Day Two

Day Three

Day Four

Day Five

Day Six

Day Seven

Day Eight

What fun vacations to do you have planned?! I am always looking for fun new places to explore and would love some recommendations!

Mastering casual

Let's face it, looking casual and effortless takes a little bit of, well... effort. I find that if you have the right pieces in your closet you can easily master this "art" of looking casually
put-together all the time.

Here are a few basics you will need:

1. Your favorite jeans
Any wash, color or style. Stick to some that you feel good in, because when you feel good, you look good! I love a light denim or a destroyed pair. Darker washes tend to look a little more dressy, so I save those for my "night out" looks.

2. Your favorite tee or top
Go for a neutral color. I like white because it goes with anything and always brightens up the outfit.

3. A casual jacket
My go-to is a moto jacket. But I find it's best if the jacket has a little embellishment on it, such as bell sleeves, a fun print or some just something classic like a jean jacket.

4. A good pair of flats

It's all about comfort. Grab those cute sandals or flats and you are set!

I hope this helps - give it a try this weekend when you are heading out to brunch for Mother's Day:)

Have a wonderful weekend!

Sun Style

Well, I am about one month in to SUN-Employment and I have to say, it's really nice! I find my style trending on the more casual side because I am just at home or doing errands (not complaining and I am extremely grateful to have some down time). It's funny how certain life events can change your style. I still want to keep it classy and presentable when I am out in public, but also want to be comfortable and not over dress. Jeans and a flowy top or button up are always perfect for any occasion.

If you have followed me for a while, you know I am a huge fan of the front tuck. It makes some of the more flowy tops have a little more structure and make them a little more flattering.

This outfit will be on repeat for lunch, brunch and yes, even my runs to Target. Shop the looks below!

Have a wonderful weekend.

Keeping it classy

I took a nice little holiday break these past few weeks, but I am happy to start the new year off fresh! Now is the time to look through my closet and "reset" my wardrobe for the year. How do I want to look? I find myself going for the classics: Black blazers, patterned button-ups and some boyfriends.

I hope you all have a wonderful New Year! I look forward to sharing and inspiring many more looks with you!

Cheers - Jac
