Locals Only

I love San Diego. It is the place I grew up and will forever call home.
Part of the reason I love San Diego (besides being by the ocean) is being able to shop and local stores that have been around for years!

I was recently invited to come to shop at Cedros Soles, a landmark store on Cedros Avenue in Solana Beach, CA, which recently expanded their store. Walking in, I felt like a kid in a candy store. Some of my favorite brands such as Flynn Skye, Free people, Bernardo, and denim galore (Literally, there is a whole wall dedicated to it - AG, One Teaspoon, more!!), which are available here.

If you live or are visiting San Diego, Cedros is a great spot to shop, and I highly recommend you check-out Cedros Soles. You will not regret it!

Take a look at some of my favorite finds below!

Fiesta!

It’s officially summer and the weather has been absolutely beautiful here in San Diego!
I am slowly picking up some new summertime pieces that I can wear all summer long and bring with me to Cabo next month.

This little dress from Free People is perfect for my Cabo get-a-way and has the cutest details that spice it up a bit from your standard summer dress.

Hope you are all having a great week!

Blue Jean Baby

Let's talk denim and blue - two of my favorite things to wear. When put together... magic happens! When shopping, I try to think of the three C's (not diamonds in this case, sorry!): comfy, classic and casual.

Pairing a classic blue button-up with some comfortable jeans it a great and timeless look. I have had this outfit on repeat lately and feel good just about anywhere I go. It took me a while to find it, but THIS blue button up from Joie is probably my favorite one to date!

Hope you all have an amazing weekend!

Cheers,
Jax

Boyfriends & Blazers

Friday is finally here! It is one of my favorite days of the week. For those of you who don’t know me, I work a 9 – 5 job outside of this “passion project” (i.e. my blog). So having the weekend to run around, put outfits together and go on a long bike ride (yes, I am one of those crazy cyclists you yell at on the weekends) – is something I look forward to every week!

I think that is why I crave that casual and comfortable style. I like things to be effortless and still be cute/put together. Boyfriend jeans and a blazer are the perfect way to accomplish the “put together” look without even trying!

Hope you all have an amazing weekend!
